Aspendos and Olympos
Two eighteens, one estate, no second transfer.
They are not the same length and they are not the same par. Aspendos is par 72 and 416 metres longer off the whites; Olympos is par 71. Both finish under floodlights, so a group can play one in the morning and the other the next day without leaving the property, which is rarer in Belek than it sounds.
Aspendos
PAR 72 · 5,807 M
The longer of the two and the harder: slope 130 off the whites is the stiffest rating on the estate. White 5,807 m · Yellow 5,332 m · Red 4,808 m. The club allows 248 minutes for the round.
Olympos
PAR 71 · 5,391 M
Shorter, and ten points softer off the whites. White 5,391 m · Yellow 5,029 m · Red 4,431 m, and 244 minutes. Its back nine is a par 35, which is where the odd 71 comes from. This is the friendlier round for a mixed society.
Yellow is a single physical tee rated separately for men and women, which is why the two Yellow rows carry the same metres and different numbers.
The scorecard
Both cards, hole by hole, including the minutes.
The Cullinan scorecard carries something almost no other Belek club has: a time allowance for every hole. Fourteen minutes for a par four, eleven for a par three, sixteen for a par five. Added up, a round takes four hours and eight minutes on Aspendos and four hours and four minutes on Olympos.
Aspendos · par 72 · 5,807 m · 248 minutes
Stroke index 1 is the fifteenth, a 346-metre par four. Note the front nine: two par threes under 125 metres off the whites, and the seventh at 110 m is the shortest hole on the estate.
Olympos · par 71 · 5,391 m · 244 minutes
Five par threes, five par fives and eight par fours. Stroke index 1 is the sixth. The back nine is a par 35 and only 2,476 metres, which is what makes the floodlit composite play as short as it does.
Termessos Night Golf · par 71 · 5,483 m
Not a third course. Termessos Night Golf is Aspendos’ back nine followed by Olympos’ back nine, rated as a round in its own right: 3,007 + 2,476 = 5,483 metres, par 36 + 35 = 71, 124 + 121 = 245 minutes.
Before you pick a week
From mid-June to early October, the club will not tell you which course you are playing.
This is the single most useful line for a society secretary.
That is 116 days, 16 June to 9 October, in which a two-round package at Cullinan cannot be sold as “one round on each course”. It can still be a good week: the open course is a real course and the price reflects the season. If your society wants both courses guaranteed, book outside that window.
What this does to the buggy line
Path-only buggies matter more here than at most Belek clubs, because the estate runs to 110 hectares between the river and the sea. If anyone in the party needs a buggy to get round, not just to save their legs, talk to us before deposits, not on the first tee.
The course
A hundred and ten hectares, and a hundred and nineteen bunkers.

Seventy-seven greenside bunkers
That is where the round is decided. Fairway sand is comparatively light at forty-two; the defence is around the greens, and the greens are large, 600 m² on average, so being on the putting surface is not the same as being close.
River and sea
The Beşgöz runs through the property and the Mediterranean bounds it. Ten lakes sit inside the routing. Bring more balls than you think, particularly if your society plays off the whites for pride instead of the yellows for sense.
Paspalum in summer
A salt-tolerant seaside turf that gives a firm, fast surface through the warm months, overseeded with Poa and ryegrass for winter. In practice the course holds its condition across the whole UK society season.
Two holes worth the trip
The one over the water, and the nine after dark.
OLYMPOS 5TH · THE SIGNATURE HOLE
Tee off over the river
The fifth on Olympos is played across the water to a green ringed by sand: the hole your members will photograph and the one that decides more matches than the card suggests.
Cullinan Links is set between a river and the sea. Standing on this tee, you see why that matters.
TERMESSOS · EIGHTEEN FLOODLIT HOLES AT DUSK
Why this matters to a society
The floodlit eighteen has a name, Termessos, and it is made up of the closing nine of each course. Lights come on from 20:00 in summer and from 17:00 in winter.
In practice that means two things. A group landing at lunchtime still gets a full round in on arrival day. And in November, when the light goes at five, your afternoon four-ball finishes instead of walking in from the fourteenth.
A note on the name
If you played here before 2021, you played it under a different name.
Useful to know, because older guidebooks, scorecards and members’ memories all use the previous names.
1997
TAT International Golf Club
Twenty-seven holes laid out by Hawtree of England, on the strip between the Beşgöz river and the Mediterranean.
Later
Titanic Golf Club
The same course, renamed. This is the name you will still find on older cards.
11 October 2021
Cullinan Links Golf Club
Rebuilt by European Golf Design and reopened as thirty-six holes, Aspendos and Olympos, across 110 hectares. This is the course as it plays today.
Playing it
What a society needs to know before booking.
THE TAURUS MOUNTAINS: WHERE THE MORNING WIND COMES FROM
The detail most sites leave out
The prevailing wind is northerly in the morning, coming off the Taurus mountains, and turns southerly off the sea in the afternoon.
That is not trivia. The same holes do not play the same way at 08:00 and at 15:00, and if your society is running a competition across two tee-time blocks, the later groups are playing a different golf course. Bear it in mind when you set the format.
THE CLUBHOUSE TERRACE
The clubhouse
Somewhere to hand out the prizes
A terrace over the water, four dining rooms and a pro shop. For a society this is the part of the day that gets remembered, so book the space when you book the tee times, not on the morning.
There is also a floodlit driving range and a golf academy, good for an hour the day before a competition.
Where to stay
Two hotels play this course. They are not the same trip.
Both are five-star and both are all-inclusive. The difference that matters to a society is how you get to the first tee at seven in the morning.
On all-inclusive
Generous: buffets, snack restaurants, branded spirits, bar service at the pool and on the beach. À la carte restaurants are charged and often carry a table fee, as is room service.
Last orders 20:30
At one of the two properties, the à la carte kitchens stop taking orders at 20:30. If your prize-giving overruns, the kitchen has closed. Book the room, not just the table.
Three to a room
Standard rooms take three adults. Useful to know before you price single supplements for a group where two members do not want to share.
